Where our data comes from

Every number should answer: “where is this from?”.

EcoEsep is built on verifiable provenance: methods and limits come from official documents cited to the page; terrain and meteo come from named datasets with versions and limitations. Below is every external source, its role, and its honest status.

Adilet — official legal acts

The republic's legal database

official source

The orders, hygienic standards and methodics the platform relies on. EcoEsep links to official texts and does not replace them; currentness-check dates are shown in the documents library.

The EcoEsep source-document library

633 documents · integrity-controlled

pinned by manifest

The scanned methodics and standards from which formulas and tables were digitised. Every file is pinned by a SHA-256 checksum, and every table value used in calculations cites its document and page.

ГН ҚР ДСМ-70 — PDK/OBUV limits

Extracted from the official PDF · 2,194 register records

awaiting expert verification

Air-quality hygienic standards extracted page by page from the official consolidated edition. Values are published with their source page and verification status.

Copernicus GLO-30 — terrain

European space programme · ~30 m

version and datum pinned

The digital surface model behind elevations and terrain profiles: the EGM2008 vertical datum is confirmed against the official specification. It does not replace a site survey — that limitation travels with every elevation.

Open-Meteo — meteo archive

Open archival provider

informational source

Archival meteorological series for the workspace. Provider, period and distance to the site are recorded with the data; the source is always named and never presented as national-network data.

Kazhydromet (AirKz) — station measurements

The national observation network

pilot integration — agreement in progress

Measured data from observation posts. The integration runs in pilot mode; a formal usage agreement is being arranged, and until it is complete the data is used as informational.

OpenStreetMap and ArcGIS — cartography

Map backgrounds

attribution honoured

Map tiles for figures and reports. The «© OpenStreetMap contributors» (ODbL) attribution is printed in the materials themselves; when tiles load, the providers see your IP address and the requested area — disclosed in the privacy policy.

What we do not use

Principled limits

platform rule

Data from competing products is not used in any form. Missing values are never replaced with zeros or invented: when data is absent, the calculation says so.

Statuses reflect the state of the EcoEsep platform. Official texts live on Adilet; each dataset's limitations are shown alongside the results that rely on it.
